Current Licensees Shelley Woolford and Rob McKenzie have been running the Hotel for over 10 years now.Shelley is the "masterchef" in the kitchen, often cooking up a storm, providing the delicious meals on the menu.
Rob feels more comfortable "holding up the bar" and enjoys many a conversation with the lcoals and visitors alike.

141 years young and still an institution
The Railway Hotel has been a Jamestown Institution for over 141 years.
The Hotel was was officially licensed in 1878 by W.C. Woidt, only a few years after the township of Jamestown was officially founded by Governor Sir James Fergusson.
